FN2 clicking noise when pulling away or slowing?

I have a 59 plate fn2, and It click when pulling away, slowing down, and turning at low speeds. its not a continuous click, it will click once each time sort of thing.
unfortunately my mechanical expertise doesn't stretch this far, but been having a read and seems it could be a cv joint? I believe it is the drivers side from the sounds of things.
am I on the right track or way off? any help would be much appreciated!

thanks
Callum

The FN2 suffers from a subframe click.

Basically, a few of the subframe bolts need removing, grit cleaning from the subframe surfaces, greasing and the bolts putting back.

Of course it could be unrelated and it could be your top mounts, a split engine or gearbox mount or a drive shaft or CV joint problem.

Had this problem , took my fn2 to tgm sport & for £72 they fixed it ! No more click, like loxy said , subframe bolts
