CH1 Clutch slip ATR

Hey Guys, Just got my ATR last week but I think it needs a clutch, pedal is right at the top and put it 4th at low speed and punch it, the revs rise.

QUESTION,

Where to buy one, which one, and what should I be paying??

ta,

My rule with Honda maintainance is: always let those who know about a VTEC deal with it, ie a main stealer. (I realise the clutch isn't actually inside the engine). There may well be a better aftermarket clutch out there, and i'm sure there as some specialists about who know their stuff too, but i generally keep my cars standard.

i got an ADL Blueprint one for mine mate, £275 from the funky power boys!

I've had a Blueprint clutch in for about 1k miles now and its been fine so far. Track day at Combe this weekend will soon see if its got what it takes :)

I looked at all the alternatives (UK source, bringing one in from the US etc) and as most ATRs are never going to be putting out more than 230-240bhp I couldn't see the justification for an upgrade TBH.

I've been wondering about a trackday, but would be worried about getting carried away and binning it. What's the crack with insurance for being on a track?

Not covered under normal policies. Though you can buy trackday insurance for the one day if you want from various companies.

Where was that from Stu:smt102 (if you do'nt mind me asking)

I'm putting a Blueprint clutch in mine on Friday:smt080
