Coilovers or springs?

Hey, basically I want to lower my ep3 but I don't know what to use? I obviously want it to be decent but I'm not going to be thrashing it round a track every weekend. So what do you guys think coilovers or springs?
 
If you use it a lot on the road then I would go for a decent set of springs and camber adjusters, with a fast road set up.

I've had coilovers in the paste. Ended up getting wrecked on the bumpy roads and started leaking.
 
Springs id say if it will mostly be used on road. I have the Eibach Pro Kit springs fitted like many others on here.
 
Ok thanks. I do drive on some horendous roads on the way to work so prob best with the springs. ill look into the Eibach ones too
