Just worth a mention... Ive got Continental Sport Contact 3 tyres on the Clio and the are bloomin brilliant in the wet... Not had a chance to try them in 100% dry conditions, but they could be worth a look for anyone wanting some winter rubber!
 
Apparently Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres are pretty decent too, I believe they are stock items on the Megane Trophy.
