Hi All,
Potentially have a huge problem with my Honda Accord Type-R (CH1).
Both the power steering belt and serpentine belt have come loose due to the crankshaft pulley bolt shearing.
The problem is my mechanic isn't sure about the crankshaft pulley itself. The link below leads to a pic of the inside of the pulley and shows that it has splines/teeth inside, although very worn. Does anyone know if this is a genuine Honda part and is meant to have splines or does it look like botch job please?

The really big problem is the crankshaft itself. My mechanic has felt inside and it feels like there are no splines/teeth and is smooth. Is this correct or is the crankshaft itself knackered?
Any help on this would be hugely appreciated.
Cheers,
Adam
