Was wondering if someone could shed some light on this issue.

My dash keeps going black - think it must be a loose connection somewhere as when adjusting the dimmer switch it comes back on at certain angles but then just goes black again a short while later.

Is this an easy issue to rectify?

I had this on my 1st FN2, from memory it only affected half the dash.
I had to hit the dash on the top and it would fix it.

It was so infrequent that I never bothered to investigate any further, before selling the car.
