Some advice would be welcome.
Been a registered member since 2005 and have had numerous DC2s and NSX NA2 models during that time. However, Left the UK to work abroad for a few years and ended up being away for nearly 10 yrs.
One of the cars I kept garaged while away was my 2000 UK DC2, owned for 20 years. Always stored in a dry clean garage and covered.
But never started. So now I’m back. I want to get it back on the road.
1. What things do I need to consider before turning the key and starting it. What are the basics I should do before going on to do all the major things like belts, etc.
2. Body work in good condition. But the Bonnet, has rusted from the front lip, which are known for gathering grime. Anyone know/have a UK model bonnet for sale or where I could a source one? Is there an option of getting the one I have repaired (worth it?)
3. Any body shops anyone would recommend as some small rust on arches
Planning on doing a full restoration on it and videoing it.
