Hi there.

Just got my DC5 at the weekend, have to say its the best car ive driven so far. well chuffed.

It came with an air induction intake , stainless steel japaneese K&N with a big heat shield. Not really fussy about it, ill fire it on ebay.

It has a 5ziegen exhaust like this one.

Its a very loud exhaust, makes the car sound like a 600cc motorbike. Im after something a bit quiter.

Can anyone reccomend a quieter alternative.

Thanks

Hello mate, welcome.

I think the quietest is the Mugen Twin Loop, though some find it abit to quite.
I went for the DC Sports, guessing might be what your looking for.
Its pretty quite and suttle when just driving around, but goes pretty mad when in the VTEC, also gives some nice pops and gurgle when down shifting at high revs.

Some links that might help you out....

Search on DC5 and the name of the exhaust on youtube, sure you'll find something...

Thanks , appreciate the help.

Ill have a good look at that lot.

HKS looks nice as well, ill have a go at you tube to see how they all sound.

MMM, that looks great.

600 quid. id probably have to sleep on the couch for a while if i spent that. still i need it to be fairly quiet at the same time.

do you loose that much power with an oem exhaust.

unit-8 have a 2nd hand toda exhaust in however they are pretty loud.

The DC sports one sounds like its something your after. Its not too loud, has good build quality and is reasonably priced.

Mugen twin loop is one of the quieter ones but alot more expensive.

Kakimoto ReguR are very very nice but if you planning on swapping the manifold then id imagine it could get quite loud. The titanium tip looks :)
