Please advise what is the best type of engine oil is to use for the DC5, at the moment I am using 5W40, also , petrol is is better to use super unleaded - cheers

Silkolene Pro S 5W40 (See oilman in the traders section) and petrol wise, Nothing but Shell Vpower (Imo)

well oil wise i use Shell Helix fully synth 5-40
Not the ultimate oil but ill be changing every 5k anyway, so i dont require the benefits you get from the higher quality oil.

Petrol, i use Sainsburys Super 97 ron, many people will tell you this is a no no and that vpower is a must, but tbh i know the risks and i take my chances.
I can tell very little if any difference other than on the wallet.

I think 97 as a minimum and you'll be fine, and use V-power if you can really.
