FK8 DD Setup

Hello all,

I am planning on getting a set of FK2 wheels as my daily driving setup (19x8.5J ET60) and I'm still undecided on tyres:

245/35: virtually same diameter, but I get an extra 12mm of sidewall
245/40: diameter increased by 24mm, but I get a whooping extra 24mm of sidewall (up yours, potholes!)
235/40: diameter increased by 16mm, extra 20mm of sidewall (but at the cost of width!)
255/35: diameter increased by 6mm, extra 15mm of sidewall (Thanks @RickHondaR)

What would you recommend, and why? (keep in mind I am keeping the OEM wheels for track days)

FK2 oem size 235 35 19 and imo best size to fit is 255 35 19 as this gives rim protection and calibrates the Speedo and they cost the same to buy.

I thought of that, but I've been told that going 255 is worse than going 235 performance-wise on cornering due to the extra width and deflections (should go to 9J for 255)... This is really confusing!
