Dead battery

I think my battery has had it as despite putting it on an Optimate the green indicator on the battery is black which means it needs charging (it's been on charge for 24hrs) or dead.

It's over five years old and my Type R does not get much use so fair enough.

Called Honda, including VAT they wanted nearly £100!

Went online, within minutes I had found a decent Bosch S4 replacement for under £50 including delivery!

Madness!

Yea I laughed when Honda came out with some crazy price, IIRC the terminals are the wrong way round on the Civic which a lot of places dont pick up on.
