Different standard calipers?

hello to all, (first post) ! just bought a 04 plate EP3 type r and ive noticed the calipers dont say type r on like alot of other iv'e seen on here do! was this an optional extra when bought new

no those calipers were only produced on the premier, jdm and anniversary models im afraid.
