Different width tyres in front and back ep3

Messages

I have standard ep3 with Bridgestone RE050

Front: 205/45/17

Rear: 215/45/17

I feel I have less over steer when driving enthusiastically and turn in is better at the same time (track)

Has anyone ever had these sizes on? Or is that just a stupid set up?

Seems like the wrong way round to me.

A lot of the Japanese tuning companies tend to run seriously wide tyres at the front and near stock size at the rear (for FWD cars). I'm sure i've seen one where they run a 255 at the front with a 215 at the rear.

It's something that varies between drivers though so it can be hard to judge, however wider wheels and wider tyres to provide more grip (to an extent).
