Dolphin colour

May have been asked before but i can't find it.
Anyway. .
I was thinking of an m2 back box with dolphin style tip but don't like the blue colour. Can this be taken back to a silver brushed look with some scotchbrite and elbow greese? Will it stay silver or colour up again with heat?

No you won't be able to, the tip is burnt until it turns that blue colour.
You could always ask the supplier if they can do one without a burnt tip, but I wouldn't be sure they would do it.

Thanks for responding. Thats a pain. I like the turned down tip as its subtle but blue exhaust is chav. Might try and find a twin exit (stock looking ) pipe

If you got bit more of a budget, you could give Alan @ SolidFab a call, he'll make you a custom backbox with the dolphin stlye tip, I'd say it'll probably be around £300ish. Or you could just get one of his full systems with your choice of tip
