Drag cartel 002 P0341 code problem

Hi guys...need advice, installed new camshafts drag cartel stage 2 with supertech valve springs...went for a remap and nothing could be done because it throws an error p0341 camshafts position timing...my mechanic is 100% sure timing is okay and car does feel okay but there is no vtec also...ecu is completely stock.
Has anyone had similar problem after installing new camshafts? I will be checking the timing but just to gather as much info before, maybe it has something to do with new cams since those are much more aggressive than stock?

It's either timing, dodgy sensor or the connector.

Money is on the timing, sensor is reporting the cam is in the wrong place... :)

If the connection to the rear sensor is dodgy it can show up. When looking at the engine at the right hand side of the block there's two electrical connectors - http://www.ipgparts.com/store/images/D/DSC00088-01.JPG - the one it's complaining about is the rear I think. With the engine off try disconnecting it, checking it's clean/undamaged, and reconnecting it.

Try restarting the engine again.

It's an easy thing to overlook.

EDIT: if it's disconnected you'd get a different code, oops.
