drivers side door/window common fault?

Hey guys i have a really annoying rattle on my ep3 which at first i thought was the lock itself moving about, its coming from the doorcard or possibly the window itself on the drivers side, had the card off many times but cant find anything, is this a common fault? It sounds like something is constantly moving around. Cheers.
