Below is a video from underneath my car.

I went under to check the driveshaft to see if there was any play or leaks etc. There was no play.

While i had the car on the stands i also removed the driveshaft heatshield so hopefully i've got rid of the rattling noise at 3k rpm.

Anyways i just want your views on how the engine sounds and how the driveshaft looks, i had just started the engine. it was snowing today so was pretty cold when i started her up.

Sounds alright to me. Driveshaft rusty like them all but all looks fine.


Have you got some problems?
 
I was getting a rattle at 3k rpm and solved that by removing the driveshaft heatshield.

But when driving at low speeds, say coming to a roundabout and dropping into second gear it makes a sort of clunk noise nd feels like the engine has moved or driveshaft is knocking. im not sure but it only does it in 2nd gear?? and also at lower speeds. and it doesnt do it everytime.

I've checked the engine mounts and they seem fine :confused:
