Engine kill switch

Can anyone tell me whats needed, and how to fit an engine kill switch to my car over the winter?

Im not being funny, trust me on this one

The Cartek kit is fine but its also a pain in the butt, Mine is currently by passed as it has a habit of playing up. My boss at the Lotus garage has had a few problems with the ones on their race cars too.

Also if the car is stood out for the Winter and you use a mechanical type pull cut off you may find it seizes up. Thats assuming you fit the external as well as an internal

find the wire that powers the knock sensor it is the same + wire for the fuel pump and wire it in series with that wire

Be aware that if you D/C your battery and you have a Cat 1 alarm and Immobiliser then your insurance is void unless it has it's own power source.
