Hi i have had my car de-catted and the engine management light keeps coming on, this is due to the O2 sensor detecting the Emissions , i was told just to pull fuse six out and this resets the ecu and the light switchs off, i have been doing this but eventually the light comes on again.
Just want to know?
1. is it safe to keep pulling fuse 6 and resetting the ecu, also when i do this it tkes a while for the idle on the rev limit to set it self to just under 1rpm.
2. will this have an impact on my engine if i run the car with the light on?
