EP3 Boot Trim Remove

My only concerns would be where the wire needs to be fed through the grommet at the top of the boot and into the roof lining then from the lining to the passenger side trim.
 
ive got the exact same issue as this, boot wont open with any luck or trick on here!

i think you may have to break the plastic boot lining if you cant open the boot! thats what my mechanic told me after he had a little look at it, ive just sourced myself a replacement, try a breakers yard to get a spare and just break the bugger ;)

however, it's one of the top results on google for "ep3 boot trim" - so thought i'd also add that if you snap any clips when taking the lining off (like I did :(), the fleabay item number for replacements is 390596977851
