Firstly, can anyone confirm that the headlight/dipped bulb type on an 05 EP3 is a H1, and also, is there a guide on 'how to' change them? I've a good idea on how to, involving removing the wheel arch lining and doing it this way, but need to know for definate. Thanks
 
Side lights are changed from within the inner arch the rest are changed from within the bonnet.

Dipped beam h1: pull plug off the rear of the light bulb. Pull rubber seal off from around the bulb base. Around the bulb base is a spring retaining wire that is hooked in position, un hook it by pressing the wire tab inwards and to the side. Bulb should pull out. Note the orientation of the bulb. Remove White plastic butterfly from the base of the bulb. Install butterfly on new bulb. Replace in reverse order :).

Don't touch new bulb glass.

There a guide in the owners handbook, just like you get with all cars.
 
because it's my mates garage workshop and left it there when I was there last. He borrowed it when he worked on something on a customers EP3
 
No need for bad feelings. Not every one has the owners handbook. If they did questions like this wouldn't get asked :).

Sorry to bump this but I noticed I had a sidey out when clearing snow off. I decided to change all my oem bulbs at the front. Waiting for delivery now.

Watching this video, I noticed his Induction kit & I'm sure I've never seen this before it looks like some custom effort. Does anybody know what make it is, looks pretty cool!
