EP3 Camber Adjustment

Messages

I have bought a set of BC RM coilovers for my EP3 and before i go about fitting them i want to make sure they are properly set up afterwards, i know that adjustable camber arms are required for rear adjustment but what i am not sure about is if i need to buy camber bolts for the front or are they adjustable anyways? any help, pointers and advice would be appreciated

thanks, Cal

You can adjust the camber on the top mounts, but it's easier doing it with camber bolts.....

they sure do have adjustable top mounts, i just want to make sure i have all the parts ready to be fitted and taken in to be set up correctly all in one go to save on having to strip it back down and have everything re-set again and again

The problem with using top mounts to adjust camber is that your moving the strut in and out, which alters the KPI and can throw the toe out too.

It's easier to set up using camber bolts.

They are less than £20 IIRC so you might as well use them.

i was gonna get the whole lot set up at the same, full 4 wheels alignment so will it matter? or would you still say use camber bolts?
