EP3 diagnostic port, missing pin?

Hi all, after previously asking about my ABS being intermittent it has decided to remain on at all times which leads me to believe something somewhere was on its way out and has now decided to balls up all together.
Found the paper clip/diagnostic port guide but couldn't manage to make any light flash etc.
On further inspection, it appears pin 9 on the diagnostic port under the dash is missing? I've taken the wiring housing off to reveal the wires an there's doesn't appear to be any wire that has come loose etc or missing an end, all present wires are connected.

Can anyone share some light on this? My buddy has an obd2 reader which I will be borrowing later this week but surely if the pin is missing it won't be able to pull any codes?

Yup, from what I can tell anyway. There are numbers on the port indicating the corner pins, and 9 is definately an empty pin slot.
The car is a pre-facelift. If that makes any difference harness wise? Got some pics of the port and the wires after taking off the wire housing. Could someone check their own and compare?
Here's some photos (pin slots look a bit rounded on 5&9 because I tried doing the self-diagnostic with a thicker bit of wire) :

Did you find anything out about the missing pin???? My connector is exactly the same with the pin missing.

I also had the same problem. Bought an OBD2 bluetooth interface and downloaded Torque application on an Android phone to find out what the problem was.

I had exactly the same problem. My EML is on and so I tried the paper clip trick and also found that my pin was missing so could not get the light to flash. Please keep us updated on how this goes with the OBD2.
