EP3 fuel injectors noise

I have noticed that my injectors have got a lot louder than they used to be, they now make a loud ticking noise that is way louder that they were before, I know that they make a ticking noise anyway but this is defo louder than it was,

any ideas on how to make it quieter, or is it something that would have to be replaced

Are you sure it isn't valve clearances needing adjustment

+ 1 valve clearance needs doing if it sounds tappety.
