Hi all,
My first post= Have bought a really decent stock Ep3 facelift 53plate TypeR and I understand the carpet rear arch liners are renown for causing rust . Does anyone know where I can get some pre facelift plastic ones. Or should I stick with

The Pre-facelift EP3 didn't come with arch liners. They did have a plastic cover for the fuel pipe though.

They are hard to find now but I bought a used one to cover my fuel pipe after removing the awful arch liners.
 
Thank you. So it's ok not to have any liners in the rear, but to try and find a plastic cover for the fuel pipe. Thanks really appreciate the message. If anyone has one please let me know !
 
Yes, it's perfectly fine to have no liners in the rear arches.
I spent a huge amount of time sending messages to breakers on eaby who had pre-facelifts for parts.
Eventually, I found one for £25 delivered but it took a few weeks.
