ep3 standard stereo

hi guys


just wondering... before I go and fit an aftermarket head unit, does the standard stereo in my EP3 have an input on the back?? i know it says CD/AUX on the button, but ive seen some units say this but there isnt actually an input lol

Im only wanting to plug my iPhone in, so if theres a jack or RCA input on the back ill jus stick with the standard unit... keep it looking nice

Don't think so. I might be wrong been a while since I tinkered with an EP3.

You can get cheap aftermarket headunits with an aux and/or usb connections on them, and theyll sound better too..

Second hand iPod comparable headunits go for bugger all on eBay.

if your stock head unit has the CD/Aux button then you can fit an MP3 adaptor unit to it, i bought one from Halfords a few month ago, cost £60.
the lead that comes with it is fairly short however so mine is routed through the ash tray below the gear stick, does the job.

Can anyone post any links to the exact mp3 aux adaptor you can buy, I've seen a few variations some on eBay some elsewhere.

I don't really want to replace the head unit as I want the factory look. However my other question is with the adaptor unit/cable can you select playlists using the standard head unit Interface, or just basically change tracks?
