Ep3 type r fault code 118 after swapping radiator

Hey as title says gettin fault code 118 temprature input high it says..the temprature sensor was workin fine before.. my thermostat Houseing had a crack in it so replaced that and put new radaitor on when at it now the temprature gauge ain't workin it stays at low and doesn't move any ideas :mad:
 
Sounds like either the thermostat has gone or the connector. Have you tried unplugging the connector and putting it back on, wiggling it about a bit etc?

I'll state the obvious, you have bled the system properly and coolant is getting to the sensor?
