Ep3 Unsilenced or silenced exhaust system???

Looking to get a japspeed 4-2-1 and probably a hks cat back.
just wondering whether to go for silenced or unsilenced and what's peoples opinions??

Would it be too loud and ruin the noise??

i will be getting an induction and k100 at the same time and the car is not a daily, just some weekend fun so I do want it to be abit loud!!!

I've got a dc sports decat manifold and dc sports cat back and it's very loud and to loud for my liking as my cars a daily driver.

Sometimes loud = drone which in my opinion ruins in what is a great drivers car. I had a cobra exhaust which had a terrible drone which in the end had to go!!

I fitted a decat to my red devil exhaust with a straight through b-pipe and it rattled my body it was that loud. You could hear v-tec crossover 2 miles away. I dreaded starting it up on a morning with its 2000 rpm choke. Bet my neighbours hated me.
I think it's more about the rasp of the exhaust, not how loud it is.

Does the rasp grow on you because im not sure if i like it. Im undecided whether to go unsilenced with std box or silenced m2

Yes. Especially when your friends tell you they heard you coming. It always makes me smile. The red devil I fitted is a complete 2 piece cat back with oval tail pipe , no b-pipe as it's straight through. I got it second hand from gum tree for £140. I thought it was really cheap. I have researched it and red devil made this as a rally spec for the ep3 but now just specialise in motor bike cans so I know I have a bit of a one off. Sounds great.
