Ep3 wing mirror glass - how to fit?

Only the mirror glass has fell out both of my wing mirrors. How do you fit these, I know they need to be glued in... but they are heated mirrors and I'm not sure what glue and adhesive to use to insure they don't fall off or the glue doesn't melt?

On the back of the glass you will notice there are 2 connectors and a circular peice of black plastic with some clips sticking out. No glue needed, you just push fit the glass onto the plastic of the same shape within the wing mirror casing.

Please do not use glue as you simply do not need it. Be patient with it and dont worry about applying some force, if the clips are there that will be enough to ensure it doesn't fall out again. Also ensure you connect up the heating element cables.

If your clips have broken then you will need a new one. If you do you can either buy a new genuine one for a round 35 quid, yes thats 35 pounds for just the glass!! Or you can buy the whole casing and mirror off ebay for around the same price, or.....

You can buy one of these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252636977315?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

They take a while to arrive but once fitted they are exactly the same apart from the guide that sticks out the back that you dont really need. They even clear quicker than the genuine ones and at 6.50 you cant argue.

Unless of course you mean that the glass has fallen out of the plastic housing and then you will just need to bite the bullet and buy some new ones. You will never get any glue to go back to factory standard so that the heating element then clears the glass evenly, believe me ive tried.

Good luck!
