Facelift JDM lights

Now, correct me if I am wrong, but did the C/pack on the JDM facelift come with factory xenon lights? The car I have bought has got aftermarket HIDs.
Where are the ballasts on the JDM light clusters? I need to spend time working this out.

My FD2 needed to have the HIDs taken out for the import SVA so has an aftermarket HID kit in now. I'm guessing the same is the case when EP3s are brought in.

I've not had it long enough to figure out if it can be put back to OEM HIDs but the auto levellers still work.

So the ballasts could still be there under the light!!
Just need the wiring pigtail

This is my next project. Find the ballasts and figure it out.
