EP3 Facelift or made to look like it?

Hi All,

Just want to rule the above out really.

I have an early Ep3 which appears to be the facelift edition but as it's on a 53 plate is there a way of telling? It has the new lights, red seats etc but just want to be 100% sure.

Is there a code or something on the V5?

Should be a preface on a '53. The earliest facelifts come on a '54 as far as I know, and they're rare. Most are 05, 55 & a few 06.

They came in on a 53 plate. Different front grill and bumper too.

It's coming up with the projector style? So I'm guessing it's legit?

No indicators on the wings

I’d say it that’s a pretty good indicator (bdum tschhhhhhh) that it’s a facelift. It’s a fair amount of effort & cost to delete these unless you have access to a spray booth. Not gospel, but 95%.
