Fitting 12x6 rear plate on the back.

Any body had any problems with getting pulled over by the police for having the 12x6 plate fitted.

Just im thinking about fitting one.

It's only legal on imports so I believe.

I've not been pulled and doubt road traffic would instantly twig that mine isn't a UK car.

As long as the font size/type and spacing is correct along with the BSAU code in the bottom right you will be fine even if the car is not an import.

Since the letters must be 79mm tall, 19mm vertical space and 11mm space top and bottom, you can't use the proper size type on a 12x6 plate, they don't fit.
