Flooring the accelarator.

Yesterday a golf g.t.i came up behind me so I floored the accelarator.Whilst casually looking in the rear view mirror I noticed that both my exhausts blew all the dust up from the road all over the poor golf.I was slightly embarrased but as the golf disappeared to a dot in my mirror I just thought oh well it was one of those things.

Has this problem ever happened to you guys?

Can't say it has :?

Golf ate your dust anyway

i was coming up behind an older subaru, guy decided to show me what turbo power was all about and booted it, i can only describe what seemed like to dump soot out the rear exhaust. i hit the internal air circulation faster than a gear shift ... he did put his hand out to say sorry!!! guess he was a bit embarassed..

When did you last give your car some welly?

If it hasn't seen high revs in a few miles then it will just be dirt that has acumulated in various places, nothing to worry about.

Indeed. Can't say I've ever noticed mine. There's not one journey I don't give it welly unless I'm nipping to the shop
