I noticed a strange noise last week when i was driving on the motorway and took my foot off the pedal. Kinda hard to describe but its like a deep sounding tapping noise when i get up to 70-80+ and then take my foot off the pedal.
I hadnt checked the oil levels for a few weeks so thought it might of been something to do with that. Oil was low so topped up but still having the same problem. Sometimes there is no noise at all and other times its deep enough to make the dashboard rattle slightly depending on the speed im going. Vtec engages fine in all gears and there is no other problems with the car. Its due a service soon so im gona get that booked in but i havent a clue what the noise is. 77k on the clock.
