My missus rang me from work today to tell me the clutch is slipping on the FN2 Type R after 46k. Honda quoted their standard price of £660 but was wondering if anybody knows anywhere around the Leicester area where I could get it done? Is it a pretty standard job or would it be a bad idea to take it to Mr Smith's back street garage? If I have to take it to Honda I will, but I don't want to if it can be done any old mechanic. Cheers

A new Exedy clutch kit is £100 and labour would be £200 plus vat
i always go to south west transmissions probably to far from you ! you get a great job with no added extras and same day service :)
