FN2 FN2 Door Sills

Hi all, I recently noticed there is clear plastic covering my metal type r door sills! I'm sure we all have these, problem is mine have started to lift and peel! Has anyone removed the plastic from their sills entirely?

The plastic is just there to protect them from the factory. Yes you can leave them on if you want, but by all means peel away!

Mine had already been removed by the time I got hold of the car.

Thought that might be the case but didn't want to just pull it all off without asking!

Just beware if it has been on for a while it can be a bitch to get off. I ended up getting a dish scourer to get one of mine off. Loads of scrubbing to get the residue off.

Yeah, came off in lots of tiny pieces and left a residue which I had to scrub like you with a dish scourer! Got some metal polish on them after and they look a treat now!
