FN2 Engine mounts gone?

Hi Chaps,

How do I explain this one without sounding like an eejit...especially in front of Neily03!

I've started to notice that when I am accelerating hard over bumpy/uneven road the engine note "skips" as I'm going over the bumps. Its almost like a string of mini vtec changovers until I clear the patch of road and then all is well again.

Could this be caused by a lot of movement of the engine? And if it is, could I have knackered an engine mount, or are they all like this?

I humbly await much berating from knowledgable persons.

Is it not just a bit of wheel spin when the wheels go light over the bumps?

I dont think its wheelspin.
Normally when the wheels spin the VSA light flashes, and it doesnt feed back through the steering wheel like a juddering wheelspin does.
Its very strange...
