FN2 Fn2 oil consumption

Hey guys just wanted to ask you is it normal that my FN2 burnt 2 liters of oil in 5000 km. I have bought it lately and have been in vtec very often. Oil is 5w-40 original Honda oil. Thx in advance!

The manual says 1l per 800 miles/1280 km is acceptable.

Just make sure you keep it topped up.

My EP3 used to go through oil a fair bit but my FN2 hardly uses any at all...

Some do, some don't, just the way of these engines.

Gone through a litre in 1500 miles, took me by surprise at first but just imagine how fast everything is spinning inside when you redline in 3rd overtaking a prius.
