FN2 Starting Issue

Had the car a week, went to the shop last night and upon return to the car, unlocked it with the fob, put the key in ignition and no dash lights came on at all. Turned key still no lights or anything. Popped the bonnet and had a look at battery connections, seemed ok. Banged on the red plastic cover on positive terminal, interior light came on and then the car started afterwards. This happened a couple of times last night.

Is it most likely to be the battery connections?

More likely the battery, but take the positive connector off, loosen it right off then it slips all the way down on the terminal and tighten it up again.

Yeah, not sure if the battery has been replaced, it’s a 57 plate. I’ll see if I can get it tested and also try reconnecting it.

Is everything standard? No earthing kits etc?

Everything standard, have a charger plugged in the cig lighter for dash cam (which doesn’t seem to charge but the charger light comes on).

It’s been fine this morning too... weird.
