Formula1 Autocentre quote £467 for brakes

I had brake problems, turns out there's some damage on the inside front disc that could not be seen resulting in uneven wear.

Anyway I was shown all four wheels, the rears were overdue too.

I was happy to get it all changed but I was quoted £467 to get it all done. I don't mind paying for the good quick service and good parts but....

I asked him where they get parts, and he said Europarts LOL.

Bit skeptical to get Pagid pads and discs, not sure how good quality is. For £400+!!!

Europarts:
1) front discs and rear discs
2) front and rear pads

With offer £158.inc VAT

Go local garage for hours labour to get it fitted. £50-70.

£200-220 all in?

Am I doing okay? Or have I missed something out?

That's exactly what iam doing mate. I've been told on here that pagid are decent quality and work out half the price of oem parts.

I think your quote of around £220 all in is realistic. Certainly would'nt be spending nearly £500!!

I'm looking at some MTEC discs and Ferodo pads off eBay for £163.

MTEC discs any good?
