Front bumper repair or replace?

Hey guys, Just been quoted £200 (£165 Labor £35 Materials) excluding VAT to repair a dent and split in my front bumper.

Is this a bit steep?

Should I try to find a replacement instead?

I would try and look around for a replacement mate. When I was looking for a grill for my car I saw a bumper for about £120

I might be wrong, but I heard they were about £250 new?

Maybe someone else on here can clarify though

I actually need a similar fix as well! Can it can be repaired using fibre glass?

Ask hendyshop in the trader section how much a new bumper would be!

Buy new from Honda if that's the price you were quoted for a repair. As said above i am sure they are £250 new and come freshly painted for that price as well.

Thank you - saw that someone was quoted £240 for a silver one, hoping to get black for the same, i don't see why not. As it is exactly the same price as a repair for a brand new one... easy decision.
