Dont need a torch either.
I used a press to get the rear ones out.
the oem rear ones came out quite easy and i didnt have to use a saw or anything.

Very true but I don't have a press and local garage will charge me , iv got them out now and was pritty easy overhall anyways ,ganna give em a splash of paint while I wait for the bushes to arrive.

On another note I want to remove the air con. I can get a non a/c belt easy, but not sure what else is involved or needed.

Apart front the belt you don't need anything. Pretty straight forward job imo.
i removed my Ac also and the most effort was getting enough space to remove the AC-pump behind the radiator.
In the end i removed my radiator which made the job quite easy.

Gold Barr update - bush's arrive Monday

seriously is just the belt needed and should bolt straight out ?
is it possible to get the a/c unit out keeping the rad in place ?
