CH1 gear box groans when warmed up

hi guys this is a puzzler for me. my atr makes a groaning noise when turning right or left. but does not make noise when cold. checked cv joints all ok had the car jacked up in the air and turned left and right whilst in gear and engine running and it dont make the noise.
Any ideas guys

Most machines will only make certain noise at certain temperatures.

Get onto Opie oils website, then order 2 quarts of Amsoil MTF Synthetic transmission oil

Commen on ATR's for the LSD to groan with old/poor or wrong gearbox oil....

It'll tell you in the manual/service book but i'm pretty sure it'll be the same as the EP3 which is Honda MTFIII
