Gearbox/Clutch Question

I have recently bought my Civic 2004, and have noticed at higher rev's (Vtec) the car is quite difficult to get into 3rd gear from 2nd, and then into 4th,

Now I know at higher revs this can sometimes be the case, but it just doesn't feel very smooth

When I bought the car the guy I bought it off seemed to think there was not much life left in the clutch so included a new clutch kit in the price of the car,

But the clutch does not slip at all, and is fine at lower speeds/Revs,

Can anybody advise?

Most certainly the clutch. They don't slip on CTR's and a common sign of a used clutch is difficulty engaging gears at high RPM.

Awesome mate cheers, he obviously knew it was gone then when I bought it, just have to get my mate to fit. it now

Just had my clutch done on Friday!! It feels so much better, its like a new car!! very happy indeed!!
