General spoon n1 question

Firstly I apologise for the question but I can't seem to find the answer and it's bugging me. With the spoon n1 back box, right at the end of the pipe exit there is that little hole. Not the actual exhaust pipe hole but the little one just inside.

Simply does anyone know what that is for ?

I've never had one, but I imagine it's for the bolt that holds the silencer bung.

That could be misconstrued. I've never had an N1. I've got a silencer bung, but it makes my exhaust bearable, so I don't use it.
