Just looked down at the tyres whilst in a body shop and noticed my tyres were down to the bars.

I'm travelling north to Southport as we speak and am planning to get some whilst up there.

Checked out a site called tiger tyres but am not sure what to go for. Always fancied Yokohama as they are a bit cheaper. One of those months in terms of finances and those little expenditures you don't plan for!

Any ideas.

What's your budget? I'm replacing mine soon and I'm going for toyo proxy T1-R's, come in around £80 a corner if you go for the 215 width instead of 205.

There's a few tyre places in southport... 2 kwikfits both keep stock, one on cemetary road and the other on east bank street.

There's a tyre place in birkdale 'industrial' estate (near mercedes & tesco express), they usually have some good offers and if you're lucky a good set of part worns from a write off. Hit and miss from there though, worth a try though. I forget what they're called, but it's something really wierd. Used to use them a lot in the past, no so much the last few years though.

The last option I can think of is the big main halfords in kew. It's a workshop halfords and they also keep a stock of tyres.

Cheers fella's. My ladies family live up north so we are popping up for the night. Just seen a sign on the mway saying safe tyres safe roads!

They aren't bare but need changing. I have heard about toyo's. Anywhere around that would stock them or are they specialist.

Prices iv seen are online so I'd expect to pay a little more over the counter. There pretty popular if you Google some reviews. Obviously everyone has there own opinion on tyres but every time I did research there name popped up a lot!
 
Toyo T1 is what I'm going for chaps. Just need to find a quality price now. Cheers

Look up ... Black Circles on the net and they will deliver your choice tyres anywhere for fitting, you may get a god price on this site....

I also found some "forest" tyres on ebay for £250 for a set of 4 delivered..... not sure what compound they are, but rated to 180mph and a decent P tread pattern..
Maybe worth a look
