Good place to get a car resprayed????

Hello, basically ive got a Milano faded pink ep3... ive had the car mopped and waxed etc many times.. and the colour does come back for period of time.. but if its not kept waxed it starts to fade all over again.

As much as i like the colour red, i need to change the colour as thats the only way i can prevent the colour fading all together, and im bloody fed up of worrying about it.

ive found various body shops, but when spending £2000-3000 on a respray, i want someone to recommend somewhere who does a good job, because in the past ive had work done by insurance approved companies and its been rubbish.

most places now only do smart repair and accident damage, ideally i want someone who specialises in respray's, and its hard to find around me (Albrighton shropshire). I am not bothered about travelling or anything like that, i just want a really good paint job. Ideally someone who can do pearlesant and custom work. (can provide paint if needed)

Any help would be brill,

thanks,

Lewis

Are you sure it wouldn't be more economical to sell up, and get another? Unless you've got some properly unusual bits on your car (and you couldn't strip them off pre-sale) I would argue resprays are an awful lot of cash and bother, unless you've got a sentimental attachment to the car or something of course.

im not bothered about money, i just want the car too look good.I've already spent £4500 on this car, and its easy to spend 1000's just on impulse with these cars. ill always keep the car even when i get a new one.ii bought it last april after seeing 12 other cars... i bought it off a 67 yr old, with 29000 on the clock and thats rare in itself and it drives like it too. The body work on the car is absolutly arrow strieght no dents no scratches(main reason why i bought it), but unfortunatley the previous owner, never drove the car much in 13yrs and he left it on a southfacing drive... and it faded.

cheers Simon... just looked through your thread. How are you getting on with the car being resprayed red? any issues/fading???

As much as i should respray the car red, i dont want the hassle with it anymore. I really want to find somewhere that does custom work. if i'm paying 1000's of pounds i want something special.. but obviously i want to see previous examples of their work..
