Grounding kit and static ?

I'm probably well off the mark with this question

Would an engine bay earthing/grounding kit reduce static as I'm fed up getting shocks when I get out of the car and close the door

I know they are mostly for bling and the only probable advantage is slightly smoother tick over but would gladly pay £35 for one if it stops the static shock

I would of thought so because there is a earth tag that you take to the body dont you. You no where to get one from? I need red one for my ep3

I've fitted them to all my cars so far. Must be good for about 10bhp :lol:

Hey Do_ in the tapatalk settings there is a way to remove your signature (eg the phone you sent the reply from!!)
