This has been posted on FD2 owners so hov has seen it! Very nice, like that they include a battery cover too.

Saw the Mugen offering the other day and it is really bad, shoddy build quality and looks crap with the red cover on

I saw the Mugen offering in the flesh the other day when I was at Litchfield Imports. The quality is shocking to say the least. Iain did say that he was having a company who specialise in carbon fibre to build an airbox for the FD2.
 
Venturi effect possibly? Get the air in quicker? Doesn't look like you'd get a lot of heat soak from that part of the engine bay?

Looking at the newer pictures it looks as though it has two intakes as I first suspected :)
 
I originally posted those pics after i fitted it on fd2-owners.com, so if you`re interested i posted my thoughts on there. Biggest downside is fuel consumption has suffered pretty badly due to the mental noise making me want to rev the bollocks off it all the time.
