19yr old, passed a week ago, need insurance!!
any ideas where would be the cheapest? im talking about £2k and below,
lowest quote ive got was from 4youndrivers and that was 6k

or shud i just sit out for 2 years and wait till im 21

If a type R, then £2k sounds cheep considering the risk.

Unless you are loaded then you've probably got the right idea in waiting.

Plus you will also get 2 years worth of driving experience that might make you appreciate the typeR a bit more. Rather than wrapping it round a tree next week .

If it was me, I'd see what the insurance is on the EK9 and build up a decent no claims on that before I considered insuring the EP3. However, I'm getting old now so I probably have my wise head on...
